Mal’s job is to keep the EPC plant up and running by ensuring no mechanical down time. What a responsibility!
He’s been maintaining our equipment for over 30 years and has built a unique knowledge of our machinery over that time.
Mal starts his education process from manufacturers information and then ‘learns the ways’ of the machines over time. Sounds to us like a good marriage (except that you don’t get a manual at the beginning of one of those!)
He enjoys the fact that no days (or nights) are the same and that you never know what you’re coming in to at EPC. Also, that the business has grown and developed and that brings new challenges and experiences too.
With many of the team having worked together for over 20 years there is also a fun and family feel to work which Mail also enjoys. When he’s not at EPC Mal enjoys DIY, fixing things and gardening (he looks after his own, his dad’s and his sister’s gardens!)
Mal lives locally with partner Lisa and daughters Abbie and Ellie on the border of Dudley.
