Quality Management Systems Update

The team are busing working on the transition of both ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 (required to be completed by September 2018).

The new Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and the new Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 have both new and updated concepts.

The biggest change is the introduction of the concept of risk base thinking, with a requirement for leadership teams to determine business risks and opportunities and to plan accordingly.

This also extends the responsibility of Quality Management into the whole business rather than just the Quality Department.

EPC are looking forward to both transition assessments being carried out by National Quality Assurance during 20th to 22nd June 2018.

EPC Quality Department have also completed the International Register of Certified Auditor’s ‘Internal Auditors’ course to cover the new clauses in ISO 9001:2015; ensuring we comply with both new standards.
